When you think of wearing a hat in Paris, the first thing that comes to mind is putting on a cute beret right? Well I hate to break it to you but berets are OUT. I know, I know, I was disappointed too. Don't get me wrong I did see the occasional beret, but they tend to be worn by older women or sold in touristy shops. Below are some pictures I took of other hat options on the streets of Paris that are becoming quite popular and not as cliche.

So as you can see hats of all kinds, with the exception of the beret, are popular on the streets of Paris. From Fedora to Beanie, whichever one you're most comfortable in you will still look stylish. Another hat that is extremely popular and my personal favorite, is the floppy hat. While I have yet to wear mine in Paris I did wear it during my recent trip to London and it is also a big hit over there, so you definitely can't go wrong with this one.

So when it comes to wearing a hat, whatever you choose will look great! Just don't think stereotypes and put on a beret!
